Over the years I have started blogs, but nothing has seemed to stick. So… today is Day One… an attempt to document my life, while creating something useful that other people may want to read.
My past attempts have often failed because of my nature to turn something I enjoy into a business. Now that I am retired, it is my hope that I will not fall into this trap again. Only time will tell.
My lack of patience and perseverance, combined with a bit of perfectionism and need for validation, have also contributed to several starts and stops in the writing department. Again… Day One… we will see what the future holds.
It is my intention to create content and not be concerned with an aesthetic or proper grammer grammar and punctuation but more with substance. In my desire to create, I have often hit “Publish” a bit too quickly in order to see my words on the screen… to get the validation that I made something. Now I hope to create more intentionally… to write more deliberately.
This publication will focus on my life… a life that centers around self discovery, travel, early retirement, simplicity and relationships. I hope to be as honest and transparent as possible.
My writing will also focus on things I have discovered that I feel can benefit others. I will not promote any product or service for personal gain… no affiliate links or advertisements.
